Lifting or jacking up a C5
Do you need to use those pucks to raise up your C5 ? I only had this one a week so I don't know much. Where do they go at and how many do you need? Will your body crack if you do not use them, and do most repair shops know this?

There's been a lot of horror stories of GM dealers jacking up the Vette without the pucks and cracking the rocker panels. Always a good idea to make sure the dealer knows how to jack up a C5 before you hand over your keys.

if you jack from the sides you will need the pucks. however, if you jack from the front and rear crossmembers and place the jacks under there, there is no need for them.
