Manual Hvac problem !!
I did a search with no luck. I have a 98 coupe with the manual hvac. The ac blows very cold on the passanger side & not very cold on the divers side. Please help.

I just had the battery out of the car to repair the hvac vacuum lines. I will try disconnecting the battery again. If that does not work where should I look next ? Bill, thank you for the help.

Mine is fixed now. Getting cold air from both sides. 
After disconnecting and reconnecting the battery (Wait a few minutes in between for good measure).
I followed the procedure here to check codes.

and I still have one B0338 - Inside Air Temp Sensor Open. This showed as a historical code, so I tried clearing it and it came back. But when I tried clearing it, I could hear some mechanical movement behind the dash. This may have been the damper doors resetting. So you might try that as well if the battery doesnt' work.
Anyone have any ideas on what to do with the B0338 code? I haven't done much in the way of searching just yet, but there doesn't appear to be much on this forum for that one.
