worry about the diameter of the tire, not the wheel.

I've got 275/35/18's on front and 295/35/18's on the rear.
Plan to go to 315's in a year or two on the rear.

285x40s all around?
I am thinking about 285x40x18 Nitto 555s on Z06 10.5s all around. Will it work and what offsets are recomended on a C5 to allow rotation?
David.

No problems at all here. Only issue I have is the recommended tire sizes of 265-35 front and 295-35 rear gives the illusion that the front rim is bigger than the rear (because the smaller sidewall in front). It really annoys me when looking at my car so I think pretty soon im gonna put the 19's in back to keep the original staggered look.

I also run 18's front and rear, 265/35 on 10" and 295/35 on 11". Looks great and no problems. The important thing is to make sure you are running different sizes f & r to prevent computer and ABS, traction control issues and codes. There are some people who might have the same sizes f & r, but according to factory documentation you really should stagger the sizes.
