i have no dash lights also the light that shine in the shifter.98 corvette.any ideas?thanks

tonight they will come on after about a mile down the road?could it be the interior dim switch?

That's my guess. If they came on momentarily that means the fuse is fine.

The Lights Will Come On About A Mile Down The Road And Stay On Until You Kill It.the N Restart It Does The Same Thing?i Can Dim It With The Switch?i Dont Know If It The Switch.could It Be The Headlamp Switch?

Go to Diagnostic System Check - Instrument Cluster

Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
Install a scan tool.
Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
Locate the ambient light sensor on the RH DIC switch and cover the sensor with black tape.
Using a scan tool, select IPC data display and monitor the ambient light sensor data.
Does the scan tool display the ambient light sensor data within the specified value?
0-10 Counts
Go to Step 3
Go to Step 9

Turn the headlamps or park lamps ON.
Rotate the dimmer switch clockwise to the full bright position.
Using a scan tool, select IPC data display and monitor the switch dimming data.
Does the scan tool display the switch dimming data within the specified value?
200-255 Counts
Go to Step 4
Go to Step 8

Turn the headlamps or park lamps ON.
Ambient light sensor still covered.
Dimmer switch still in the full bright position.
Does the gauge backlighting illuminate?

Go to Step 5
Go to Step 6

Does the RH or the LH DIC switch illuminate?
--
Go to Step 7
Go to Step 6

Replace the IPC assembly. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) Replacement IP Cluster Replacement.

Is the replacement complete?

Replace the LH or the RH DIC switch assembly that did not illuminate. Refer to Driver Information Center Switch Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Step 10

Replace the LH DIC switch assembly. Refer to Driver Information Center Switch Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Go to Step 10

Replace the RH DIC switch assembly. Refer to Driver Information Center Switch Replacement .

Is the replacement complete?

Turn OFF the ignition switch.
Reconnect or install any connectors or components that were disconnected or removed.
Turn ON the ignition switch.
Is the repair complete?

Do you have fog and tail lights, if not it is the turn signal switch.That's what was wrong with mine. Good luck

Same thing here. I bought the part from GM parts direct and installed it myself. $150.00 for an hours work vs. $500.00 and a week without the car to let the dealer do it. It was a tough choice

Easy swap out. I am not great at stuff like that either.
