Rearview Mirror Keeps Falling!

Hey Guys!

I have a 2000 Cpe and everytime I hit a road bump on the freeway or something similar, the mirror loses its place. Its not falling off the windshield, the "ball joint" is not holding the mirror in position anymore. Has anyone else experienced this b4? If so, did u fix the mirror or replace it? I just called the local chevy dealership and they said the mirror is $94, which isnt terrible, I guess.

Also, I have just a plain jane mirror in mine, is there an "upgrade" maybe to one with a compass or something.

You could upgrade to the electrochromic mirror I think, if yours doesn't have one already.

I dunno if I have that one or not, what exactly is differant from that one, than the normal one?

That one doesn't have the night time lever on the bottom. It adjusts automatically.
