Default Invisicord install

I have a 2000 convertible and am trying to install the invisicord, along with the mirror mount from Great Lakes. Only problem, the instructions for the cord say to the orange wire. My standard mirror has 2 orange wires and there seems to be som confusion about the ground wire also. The instructions say the brown wire, but I've read where some have used the black. Folks at invisicord were very helpful, but unable to tell me which orange wire. I don't have a voltmeter readily available. Anyone done this and can offer suggestions? That by the way is the 2nd orange wire in It's all here: http://www.invisicord.com/
Heres the PDF there is a different hook up depending on which mirror , cord or year car: http://www.invisicord.com/docs/quickconnect.pdf
I ended up using the windshield suction mount I could be wrong but the mirror mount looked like it might cover a sensor on the back of the mirror. By using the wind/mount I could get the unit higher (better) and it is more stealth. I position it so the reciever sits just below the factory tint line on the windshield just to the left of the mirror

Get over to RadioShack and get yourself a decent voltmeter. They're cheap and you'll not regret doing it.

I just installed my invisicords today on my C5 and Silverado. They work great!
