I was one happy new corvette owner until I found this frickin forum. Now, I 've already installed new GM perfromance rotors, Z06 calipers, G MAN came over and lowered it (about an inch all the way around; thanks Gary), plus I purchased Mallet magnesium wheels and Pilot Sports. Now I'm going to get TPIS long tubes and B&B PRT's this week along with cold air induction and the power duct.
When will this mod disease stop? Now all I am trying to do is figure out whether or not I can get in on the MTI deal!
I love driving my car, and this forum has been a tremendous help for someone like me (no knowledge whatsoever!).
If you can live through the first few mods (considering time, money, frustration, support of significant other, etc.), it does get better but never goes completely away. You will just need a "treatment" from time-to-time! :yesnod:
If you really want to get :U then start keeping track of the cost . I threw my notebook away along time ago!! :cry But I wouldn't be happy with the car any other way!! :jester
Amen! I swore off mods when I got rid of my Camaro and got the Corvette. First it was the intake, and a few other goodies. Now I've got extra rims, tires, and a nitrous kit in the works. What the hell have I gotten myself into???
weclome to the club....i wont even list all my mods due to the incredulous amount of $$$ i have dropped :yesnod:  ....having said that ... by all means, do the MTI deal....you will be :smash: on vipers ;)
If there's a cure for mod sickness, You can keep it.
Repeat after me... Modding is FUN!:D

Common disease! I posted a thread very similar to yours and there were some classic responses, including the infamous Snowman dialogue. I'll try to find and post.
Modifications = Pride!!! It's not just a male affliction. But then we girls always like to improve ourselves. Don't you guys like when we wear our 'special lingerie' :yesnod: Well why else would you put a 'bra' on a car you refer to as a she. Dress us up and show us off! The only 'mod' that should be off limits is a Z06 badge on anything but a Z06. As someone once posted: "Parts is parts, but false badging is for posers". Plus, it's our way of keeping the economy moving WOW  Nice 'scooter' Dave! They build Harleys here (York,Pa.). There's nothing like feeling the vibes between the thighs of a well tuned V-twin :D
I found away to keep this addiction from taking over my life :cry After BBS wheels, Firehawks, PRT's, Blackingwing, V1, Zanio, Bypasses, I now squrrel away a 100 a week until I have enough cash for the next addition. The real adds haven't really started yet, headers, programer, rotors, calipers, etc. ;) ;) GOD WILL SOME COMMIT ME I,M DOOMED
