Oke guys,here in Holland(Europe)we all love your 4 red taillights instead of our red/amber/white ones.A guy from our forum has bought some LED taillights and is wondering if there is a conversion wiring kit to install these without cutting the original wires???So,is there anybody out here who knows where to find such a kit....Or maybe a wiring diagram?
European taillights------>american LED taillights.
Thanks in advance,
Greetz Erik.

I’m in England and I agree the domestic US rear lights are much cooler than the crap Euro ones. Unfortunately they are illegal in Europe and you will fail whatever inspections you have in Holland also you will loose your back up lights. If you still want to go ahead send me a MP and I’ll give you the diagrams. This is odd for me because I usually change US to Euro

I sent you a PM asking for your email address. I've never grasped how to attach pictures to the forum or the PM.
Here is a pic of my rear....
Look at the red foglights in the middle of the rear bumper.
The thing I changed was four red's with backup lights with chrome-like bulbs for the signals(they actually blink orange..)The one's in the middle are for the back up lights.The foglights are a must and may only be turned on when visibility is less then 50 meters(very bright lights)Removal of these foglights result in 2 big holes..The rear bumper is actually the same as the domestic one....even the backup lights with license plate of the domestic one will fit were my plate sits.
Here in Holland we have the "euro" and the "american" models corvette.The ones who are imported directly from the states will get a smaller license plate but only if the normal(bigger)plate will not fit.A foglight is required and that is always done the way you have it now...between the tailpipes.A "euro" model always gets the big plates(like I have above)and the american ones the smaller plates.There is no way that a euro model will have small plates(legally that is )but we do have'm.... (illegally that is)Personally i like the 4 red ones better and without the euro foglights....a well....life can be tough..
I went with red over ambers and the fog light in the gap between the tailpipes. I'm going to need a custom sized UK plate when I get back.
It doesn't solve your problem of the enormous fogs in the bumper
I've often thought about trying to go for strip foglights in the lower vents. Would probably look neater
There is small problem with this set up. That is unlike the US domestic lights the Euro ones have no reflector. The reflector on the Euro set up is in the fog lamps. Japanese set up has a reflector where the Euro fog lamp is.....it looks almost as bad.

There is reflective material in the light units themselves. The area around the ambers is reflective. I have some add on reflectors to get it through SVAS if necessary Hope I don't need that option

Well you will get away with it on the SVA as they don't seem to look for that. MOT garages often do. If you look at the pic of my car you will see that the reflectors have picked up the camera flash but there is no similar reflection in the tail lamps. http://www.badongo.com/pic/138686
