Screen Question again.
Back to this again.
Purchased a new 4x4 so have not been working on the vert.
Think she is mad ( the vette ) that is.
I still want to get the Z06 screens and open up the area behind for air flow.
I believe I've read that a one inch hole saw drilled in the plastic about four times will do the trick.
My question is what have others done.
I'm I thinking about this too much ?

There is one wire that runs horizontal on the lower side of the plastic you will be cutting. Make sure it is out of the way before you fire up the chainsaw. The wire can be reached from the engine compartment.

I took mine completely out...seemed kinda hard at the time, but looking back, it wasn't that hard.

I used a 1 1/4" hole saw and put 3 holes in each. Secured my screens with velcro. Total time: 40 min. It's a piece of cake, go ahead and do it. You're definitely thinking too much. This is a great and easy mod to do.

I seem to recall that you could also cut a hole towards the back that would allow the air to escape out, basically allowing it to flow and remove hot air. It has been a while since I read this and I have slept since then.

let me tell you this . i dont know if the screens are worth anything. put them on my car bought them from wcc the dust and dirt under the hood is horafying. then again they must be letting air in since they let everything else in. theres other ways to spend your $$$. try it you can always change back
