First of all they are not just painted!
They are powder coated then painted then clearcoated.
I have also seen them stripped and polished, if you want some amazing work, do this because they will blacken almost over night.
I can't remember the name of the place but their in the Chicago area that will refinish your wheels if thats what you need I think thats the closest place to you.
