Default Just changed Diff. Fluid and I have a queestion?>

The car is a 98 with 4,200 miles on it and I felt like installing a magnetic drain plug and some Redline Diff Oil. My question is I was not able to get the car level. I used the Rhino ramps to get the back of the car up and did it that way. I could not get the jack under the front of the car to get it level. I put about 1 3/4 quarts in and was able to lift the drivers side a bit so some of the oil would come out of the fill hole. Am I in danger of over filling it? Or is the amount so small that I shouldn't worry?
Thanks
Ron

Ron,

I have changed mine twice and both times there was 1/4 or less left in the second Qt.Mine was level so I am sure you are O.K.Redline 75w90 was the brand that I used also.Changed my 6spd.with Redline D4 ATF and noticed that it shifted better after the install.

The rear end fluid smells great..
