Default problem getting tabs in on C5 Bra install

I have the bra installed with all the fasteners but I can't seem to get the tabs to go ABOVE the corner lights, the driving lights. I have the tabs stuck in both the bottom and top of the screened holes. I got the tabs pushed UNDER the corner lights but cannot get them to go above. I have an 04 ZO6. Anyone else with this? I am about to go get the scissors and either cut them off or run around with the scissors in my hand. I did a search and the other postings show no problem..........of course!

You have to tilt them so they are pointed upward. They do not slide in horizontally. Also sliding them around a little until you find the slit they go through helps.

Thanks Bill....the instructions are so dark, and vague, otherwise the bra fit well.
