Can resurfacing rotors knock steering wheel out of alignment?
Took my car in last week for the CLB and a vibration. Service advisor (great guy ) said when he was testing it he noticed a pulsing in the brake pedal and had the rotors resurfaced. When I took it in, the steering wheel was just a bit off center to the right, and when I got it back it was off center to the left. Can resurfacing the rotors or the CLb affect the steering wheel alignment? Thanks. :chevy

Should have had no effect on the alignment. Hitting a curb could though....

I wouldn't think so, unless they dropped it when the wheels were off or something.

The column lock recall requires them to remove the steering wheel. It should be a quick thing to fix for them. It doesnt need an alignment, just the wheel moved one or two splines over.

I didn't have alignment problems but the turned surfaces started making noise just after the turning process. High pitched and very irritating. Solved one of many problems by selling the car.
