C5 2002 6 speed shifitng problem
I was driving on the interstate and it would not shift into the odd gears. 1,3,5... I was able to get home using 2,4,6. Any one know if it might be the problem? Car has 30k miles.

I had identical symptoms except I lost 2,4,6. Your shifter might have slid too far forward on the adjustable bolts which mount it on the torque tube.

I just made an appointment with the dealer to get the alunimum shift forks and scyncros changed in my car. 01,02, and some 03's came with the alunimum forks and can get changed to the steel forks, the tsb says that the syncro's should aslo be changed. Check the sticky, do a search for the tsb from chevy. I'm having a hard time with some of the shifts, also feel a weird vibraton in 2nd when jumping on it. 40k on the car

6-speed Shifting problem
I had the same problem a couple of weeks ago. The problem was solved with the help of the great forum members. The stop screws on my Hurst shifter were loose! Per the Hurst install instructions, I just removed them.No more problem; thanks again to the forum members that helped me.
