Why would you want to put springs on a car that they were not designed for? You do realize that spring rate, total weight and weight distribution play a MAJOR role in which springs are appropriate for you vehicle. Just because a part is from a later generation than your car does not make it an upgrade. It has to MATCH the car and its intended use.
I tried to do this on my 99 C5 and although I did not install the front, it may have fit because it mounted the same way as the front spring. Unfortunately, the rear spring on the C6's (all) sit on a solid perch of the lower control arm, much like the front spring. The C5 uses a bolt and bushings that go through lower rear control arm. If you try and install a C6 spring on a C5, there in a hole in the lower control arm where it should be solid for it to mount properly. You would have to get C6 lower control arms for this work, and I'm not actually sure if the geometry is the same.
