B&B bullets mind blowing
Hey all you guys out there with B&B bullets exhaust, is there a trick to stop the drone of those bullets? i really like the sound of them but the drone between 1500 and 2000 rpm is starting to get to me, can i do anything beside get rid of them,, if anybody has any tricks up there sleeve please ring in.

The only thing I can do is drive it like a race car and keep it out of the drone range. The drone is horrible, but I like the sound; if I could find another exhaust I like and maybe hollow out the cats I may consider switching.

Downshift to increase revs!
Get cutouts and open them up when resonance starts!
or do like me and live with the drone... 1750 RPM with my Borla Stingers.... waaaawaaaawaaaawaaaaaahummmmmmwaaaaaaaaa (LOL that's my imitation of the sound), downshift, 'BWAAAAAHAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!' VROOM, VROOM
Sorry, couldn't help myself..... there were so many posts about the stingers when people installed them back @ 2002-2003, complaining of the same thing....... if you want to make it even worse, I hear that headers without cats increase the problem!!!
But seriously, I rarely notice the sound anymore, but that damn fuel pump.......... just kidding, barely notice IT either.... Dad hopped in it a couple of months ago and asked if I had noticed that loud buzzing sound that was like a hive of hornets.... thought a minute, and then, "oh, yeah, you must mean the fuel pump." LOL
Only solution is a different set of catbacks.........

The BB Bullets drone is terrible. I wanted the loudest exhaust possible, and now I regret it. There are a few tricks, but none that will eliminate the drone completely. My advice...trade someone, or buy borla or corsa.

Yeah - get the Dynatech SupermaXX system.
I find it interesting that you have 'drone' at 1500-2000... i have the LTs and B&B Bullets and don't really get ACTUAL drone or resonance until around 1850-2000 and it's not that bad. I even got the 4.10 Rear gears so at 70 on the freeway i'm around 1800rpms, and it doesn't drone at all. Just purrs along, unless i'm on a hill or something and have to gas it a little.
Its all personal preference - this system doesn't bother me at all, so i love it. If it bothers you... you should change it...

Get some Corsas.... I recently swapped stingers for Corsa Indy's after putting my cam in. They do as advertised... no drone, super loud at WOT w/ a very exotic sound.
For other reasons I'm going back to the Stingers but keeping my partition in and insulating the car w/ e-dead and ensolite foam.

The only mind blowing thing about my bullets is why the damn hangers keep breaking. I think I fixed it this time though (the car should fall apart before they break again) but if the drone bothers you just trade them. I like it but I never stay in that RPM range. Needless to say I drive my car hard.
