Default Seat cover removal / replacement

I'm sure at one time or another there was a "how to" page on how to remove the old seat covers and replace with new ones. Looked in archives and couldn't find. Could someone please point me in the right direction for the link please. Thanks.

Do you have the sport seats and is this for the seat back or bottom?

The seat back is pretty simple on the sport seat. You just need to move the seat forward and tilt the seat forward by pressing the seat back release on the back of the headrest. Unroll the base on the bottom back. Then there are two zippers to undo. You will find them in the area that is a hole in the headrest. Then you have to go go to the lumbar supports and fit your hand between the lumbar and center section. Each side has three plastic screws/snaps that you will need to evenly apply pressure to remove. Then wiggle from the seat cover from the top and slide it out from the seat back release.
Once you have done all this it will just come off. Just be careful not to damage the foam.

If you need more clarification, I can also pull the instructions out of the service manual.

Sports seats...
The new seats are coming tomorrow, so with having a 3 day weekend I'm gonna try and rip into them tomorrow night. They may come with directions, I don't know. I just figured you get a better step by step from people who actually have done it.

Here are the directions directly from the service manual to remove the seat back cover. Let me know if you need other sections.

Remove the insert pillow. Refer to Seat Back Trim Replacement - Front .

Important
There are two size fir tree fasteners used. if the head of the fastener is 19 mm (0.75 in) it is possible to remove the trim by slightly raising the fir tree fasteners and then sliding the seat back cover tab over the head of the fastener. If the head of the fir tree fastener is 25 mm (1 in) it is necessary to remove the fastener.

Check the size of the fir tree fasteners heads.
Raise or remove the lower fir tree fasteners and detach the seat back cover from the seat frame.
Unzip the seat back cover upper zipper.
Carefully slide and pull the cover material out from under the seat back release lever bezel.
Pull the seat back cover from the bolsters.
Remove the fir tree fasteners from the foam pad upper retaining straps (if replacing the pad).
Remove the foam pad (if replacing the pad).
Installation Procedure

Install the foam pad (if removed).
Attach the foam pad top straps with fir tree fasteners (if removed).
Position the seat back cover over the seat back frame.
Pull firmly down of the seat back cover.
Attach the seat back cover with the fir tree fasteners using one of the follow methods:
Slide each of the seat back cover tabs over the 19 mm (0.75 in) head of a lower fir tree fastener and push the fastener in to secure.
Install new fir tree fasteners through the seat back cover and the lumbar bladder assembly into the seat back frame.
Zip the upper zipper closed.
Tuck the zipper ends out of sight into the seat trim.
Pull the back of the seat back cover down firmly.
Tuck the lower corners of the seat back cover over the foam.
Carefully tuck the seat back cover behind the release lever bezel.

Install the insert pillow. Refer to Seat Back Trim Replacement - Front .

Here is a video for the non-sport seats that might help.

Quad that--i used VE intructions--4 hours to pull, cover, and put the driver's seat back in and 2 hours for the passenger

The WORST part is the reverse zipper under the headrest part of the sport seats---until you say f#$ck it and pull it hard with some needle nose
