Do I need a 90mm MAF?
I have a FAST 90mm and P&P LS2 TB and am getting a 90 mm airbridge. Do I need a 90mm MAF and if so are there TBs from any other vehicle that I can use to save on the corvette tax?
Also I am assuming that the LS2 MAF is 90mm? Thanks
You will not see any gains out of going any larger. If anything, you will create more tuning issues than anything. The LS2/LS7 MAF is actually a plug in sensor that goes into the housing. It not actually a 1 piece unit.
If you just had to do it, I would go with the LPE 100mm MAF. But it honestly wont do diddly for you...

So basically I just need to replace my stock LS1 MAF with an LS6? Is it plug and play with no tuning issues? Thanks

Thanks Cajun for this question, I have been researching the same question. Thanks to the forum member for responding, I am sure Cajun and my self is now a step closer to knowing what we need.
Thanks
Gary
So this might be a piece to install at the tuners so that he can make the changes correct? Thanks
Cajun
Yes.
footnote: the LPE 100mm MAF has a built in sensor that is shielded on the back side. This shields it from reversion impulses.
Louis @ LGM says it works well with high overlap cams. fwiw.
