Need Some Help With BCM Knowledge asap please
I need to get a BCM that is compatible with my 98 6-speed vette, the service number on my 98 is 16268111. I cant find one with the same service number to save my life ( my vette sits in the driveway while i look 
).
Are any other service numbers compatible or can these be programmed to work with my car? I found two, one was part number 16265761, the other 09381409

Go to the local dealership and have them change out and program the BCM
-or-
Go to www.gmpartshouse.com and purchase a BCM then install it and have the car flatbeded to the dealership (or anywhere with a tech II) for programming.

there is also a bcm learn procedure that you can do to at least get the car running so you don't have to have it towed...but you will need to get it programmed for the correct options..
i bought one a while back from a used salvage place i found on the internet..maybe if your are lucky you can find one also...i'd give you the name of the place, but it was about a year ago and i don't remember anymore...
just try searching for the p/n...who knows you might find one...
