if you think the predator is junk, then the hypertech is garbage.

Please, also do no type in all caps.

The best programmer for your C5 is the one with the big rollers under the rear wheels!

Turned three 12.90s with stock drive train ,Black wing, preadtor,A4 and 315. The best time without predator tune but all the other stuff was 13.16. Plus I can pull this tune before GMPP work.

with my Predator I...

* removed Torque Management (A4)

* lowered the cooling fan on-temps

* maximized my WOT shift points after a rear axle ratio change

* increased timing

* leaned out a pig rich WOT using the Predator and a wide-band O2 setup

*raised the A4 line pressure for nice "chirping" WOT shifts

I can create a radical setup once arriving at the track; then go back to street settings just before the drive home.

more than "worth it" (especially if the C5 is an automatic)

Hi I'm looking for a good programmer I'm new to vettes mine is a 00 c5 6 speed. It's all stock but I removed my cats n exhaust for it to b loud but I notice its not as fast no more I think kuz the check engine light turned on due to the cats removed. I'm using sum continental drag slicks 18" on stock wheels and my fastest time was 13.266 @ 104mph is that fast enough or no ??

The only thing a "chip" or "tuner" (SuperChip, etc.) should go on is a diesel. These cars run a lot better with a tune made specifically for the car through a professional tuner using ls1edit, HPTuners, efilive, etc. My tuner drives the car on the street to tune the real life driving part and then sticks the car on the dyno for WOT tuning. All of my cars I've had him tune put out awesome numbers and drive great and he uses the type of software mentioned above ^

Ewww, does it sound like a farm truck? Hahahahahahaha. If you're not going to run cats atleast put longtubes and a quality axleback on. Your car probably doesn't feel as fast because your car is not tuned towards what you have done to it and it's messed with it a bit. My advice would be to put an actual exhaust on and go get a real tune on it, not a programmer.
