threads on 6 speed shifter
This may-be a dumb question but what are the threads on the shifter. I had a 67 GTO and it had the Hurst T-Handle shifter. I would like to put on one my 01 vette. I have a ability to rework the t-handle if need be. I know someone has the answer. Thanks everyone. Tom

I had a Hurst T-Handle on my 1964 Vette, but you sat up higher, over the shifter. I would not like a T-Handle on my 1998 C5, the shifter sits much higher, I often grip the sides of the stock C5 shifter. It is shaped to fit in your hand that way. I have changed many shift ***** on my cars, but I am satisfied with the stock C5 MN6 shift ****. JMHO.
