When I switch from regular A/C to Recycle A/C there is no change. It's always been that way so I never really gave it much thought.
Are they all the same?
On other cars, when you switch it you can hear something close and the air movement is stronger.

Any experiences and or fixes?

No fixes here but I can pass along my experiences. I think you mean "RECIRC" rather than "RECYCLE". It's when you shut off the outside air source and cause the system to recirculate the air in the cabin.

I agree with you when you say "On other cars, when you switch it you can hear something close and the air movement is stronger." My F150 does that. My C5, however, does not. I just assumed it was superior GM engineering, you know, like the column lock.

Yeah and the grounding issues. Thank God for after market engineering!

My HVAC blower DOES change in "intensity" (or force of air coming out) when I change modes.

Danm! I thought I was going to an easy weekend. Now I'm going to have to dig and find the problem.

Thanks for the info LoneStarFRC!

Be advised, I have the C60 (manual) HVAC system and not the CJ2 ("automatic") HVAC system. You don't say which system you have.

If you have the CJ2 it would be good, if just for comparison sake, to have someone else with a CJ2 system to post as to their experiences when switching modes.

I didn't know that there were 2 systems. How would I be able to tell the difference?

Are you able to set temperatures you want? Do you have a display screen?
