Default Bilstein Sports or Koni FSD

I know these two shocks have been beat to death but I want to know if you had a choice between only these two which would you go with and why? Can't make up my mind on which to go with.

I've not heard many complaints about either but I'd go w/ the Bilsteins to keep my cost down. Konis are nice but pretty $$$. $.02

As with any modification, it depends on what you want to do with the car...

You get what you pay for....

For real performance I'll take the Konis...

Just a heads up. I just ordered the Bilstein Sports from shockwarehouse.com for $304 delivered. Thought I would save you some time trying to find the best price. Now you owe me.

I have the Bilstein's and love them. Very good handling. My buddy said its a little stiffer than his stock C5 suspension but it does handle like its on rails.

If money is not an option, Koni FSD's hands down. There are a few threads here floating around on the koni vs. bilstein debate, and Koni's are much better (and expensive). People here will only recommend what they spent money on, regardless of the other product's knowledge.

I don't know the difference in price, but if I had to do it over I would do the KONI FSD's in a heartbeat!

I've had mine for about 9 mo./20,000 miles.

Thanks LAPD for a great deal!

I went Bilstein for the value. Under $300 for a set of four is a smoking deal given the return that they give.

I also added the ZO6 sway bars and metal ends...the combination holds the car in curves like it's on a rail

koni fsd

DOES NOT COMPARE TO BILSTEIN, FSD IS DUAL FREQUENCY CONTROL, BILSTEIN IS ONE FREQUENCY

THESE BABIES ARE GOING TO BE INDUSTRY STANDARD ON EVERYTHING IN THE NEXT 5 YEARS! TRUCKS, CARS MOTORHOMES...FRICKEN AMAZIN' !

http://www.tirerack.com/suspension/s...FSD+Damper+Set

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...light=KONI+FSD

I PERSONALLY BELIEVE THE SUSPENSION SPRINGS SHOULD SUPPORT THE CAR NOT THE SHOCKS ..

SHOCKS SHOULD DAMPEN AND GIVE YOU A NICE RIDE AND STICK THOSE TIRES TO THE ROAD!

I had some Bilsteins installed (because I'm lazy) a few months ago. Man what a difference! You'll be very happy with them.

The technology of the Koni FSD's will give you as good of handling as the Bilstein's, but a much, much smoother ride over rough surfaces. They are well worth the extra money.
