Advice pls - hot idle drop
2001 A4 vert with 50K mi. Occasional problem. When engine is hot it fires up normally, I put into reverse or drive and engine speed drops to ~400 RPM then there is noise sounding like belts slipping, power steering pump struggling, etc.. basically just too slow RPM, feel vib through steering wheel. I push accel pedal slightly and idle jumps to normal ~600RPM and everything is fine. Won't do it again until another hot start. I cleaned throttle plate recently so hopefully I can rule that out. There is very slight roughness to idle, but no dead miss. Look forward to your help. Thanks in advance.
