Thats a good question? I now you can tell a big difference by flooring it.

Default touring and pace car

do you see any number markings on the mufflers....that would be my guess. When I get my car back today I will see if I have numbers on the pace car mufflers....there has to be a way to tell visually.

This is correct. I had the same question and emailed Corsa about this. You have to actually looking inside the muffler can , but not via the tips, but from the entry point for your exhaust right after the over axle pipe. I have a pic of mine (touring type) and I'll try to find it and add it to this thread for a reference. When I look in mine that way, I see a long tube going to the end to can w/ small holes toward the top of it close to the entry for the over axle pipe.

I have the Patriot Heads (cnc'd 243's) w/ 218/224 cam into Yank SS3600 into 3.42 gears -Kooks 1 3/4" headers into Corsa Indy Pace Car system.
It is loud to me and everyone I know!! Great sound at idle but if I get on the gas a bit at the stop light it really gets loud!!! Actually too loud for daily driving - I can never punch it without a super loud sound. Maybe its the Torque Converter adding to the mix. When I am at cruise on the highway sound is like stock with no resonance I have the Tigershark style pipes and am trying to find someone to trade mine for the Tigershark Touring - apparently hardly anyone purchased these!! Oh yes, when driving along the street at say 45 or 50 mph sound is at normal stock levels as well.

I been following your threads man....Iam in exactly the same boat as you. Exactly right down to the tigershark tips....if there is a vendor out there who could help a couple of forum buddies out, please chime in. My system is less then 6 months old. Could easily pass as brand new. I would like to go to the Tigershark Touring as well.

Maybe with 2 guys this might be worth it to a vendor as I know the Pace car editions sell like hotcakes. The touring editions not so. Might be an opportunity for a vendor to get rid of a couple of overstocks?

Ok, here are the pics (finally remembered!). Remember this is looking into the muffler can from the perspective of where your overaxle pipe inserts into the muffler can and these are the TOURING exhaust:

I don't think this was answered unless I missed it...the Pace edition do not have the slots, just straight through pipes.

Default i have another thing to add

weight! I love my tourings but I can speak from experience, I had the Corsa Pace Car Tigersharks and they were definitely a good 10-15lbs lighter then my Corsa Touring Tigersharks.

definitely weight.....

but I still wouldn't trade that for the sound combo I have now with my headers....

It wasn't too long ago that you called me a pvssy because I chose Corsas over B&Bs.

Anyway, I think you will hate the Corsas since it amplifies the motorboat sound of LS-motors. I've since swapped to Borla Stingers and it's like a new car again. No more motorboat!

And for those who are keeping score at home, the Corsas are like boat anchors...

Stock Ti = 26 lbs
B&B Bullets Quad = 31 lbs
Borla Stingers Quad = 36 lbs
Stock Base model = 46 lbs
Corsa Indy/Pacecar (Touring is even heavier they say) = 52 lbs
