I have a 2004 coupe and have done some upgrades already. GM-T1 sway bars front and rear, Bilstien sport shocks, michelin PS2 tires 18's front and rear. I do some drag racing and auto crossing and run the Silver State Classic Challenge race every year in the 140 class. I would like to take the next step and set the suspension up so that it performs more like a full on road racer. I've heard that the Penske purple adjustable shocks are a good bet. I could use some expert advice on a more complete package.
Coil-overs are what you are looking for. Might want to also look at Pfadts. A lot of people use them for road racing with a lot of success and they are a lot less expensive than the Penske's.

the Penskes are a completely different level than the Pfadts, but not everyone can afford the Penskes so an alternative like Pfadts would be a good choice.
