I believe the turn signal lights on one side are controlled by the RDCM and the LDCM controls the ones on the other side.
Thus if a blinker (passenger side front) fails then the driver side lights should be unaffected.
My turn signal lights work sometime and sometime they don't - no green arrow or blinking. Happens a lot now.
Any ideas on what is the matter?
Thanks,
There are some threads on this forum that discuss this issue. The blinker is controlled through the emergency flasher unit, top center of the dash just to the left of the vent. Mine does this occasionaly and I just press the E-flasher button 10-20 times in rapid succession and - voila - they start working. The permanant fix is to replace the E-flasher button. See those other threads for the easy way to do that yourself without dissasembling the whole dash. Caveat - this is if neither signals work

Your door modules have nothing to do with your turn signals.
follow the threads that tell you how to replace the flasher switch throughthe radio opening. Takes about 30-40 minutes. The replacement GM switches have corrected the failing relay parts that plague us.
