Default HVAC readout temps are dim?

I've read several others post that the inside temp readouts are dim and sometimes unreadable in daylight.. Whats the fix for this?

Just a tip,,the fix is pretty easy and it works!! The tip is get a small traditional soldering iron.I got one of the battery powered COLD HEAT irons(bought it a t Wally World,,and if I had the receipt I'd take it back!! its awkward to use and not very effective. Could barely get it to melt the original solder, and wasn't able to add any additional solder.Thank God it worked by just remelting the original solder. After doing it once though,in needed it will not be a big deal as after the first time it will go a lot easier if needed again!!
