Default C5 RPM too low at idle

99 coupe, six speed. when driving, car at normal operating temps, let off gas coming to stop, idle drops below 500 rpm and stumbles. stalled once, started right back up. usually idles around 700 rpm with clutch in. florida temps are unusually cold this week,60 degrees for the highs. i am new to these C5's, what sets the idle speed ? an adjustment screw on the trottle body would be too good to hope for. this is intermittent problem.

Default Re: C5 RPM too low at idle (l8apex)

The "Desired Idle RPM" is programmed in the PCM and can not be changed without editing the PCM. The idle is defined in two tables of RPM vs. temp. In order to have it changed you will need a tuner to reprogram your PCM or wait until software is available to do it yourself.

If your car throwing any DTC codes? If your car is under warranty however I would check with the dealership...
