Can someone quickly reply and confirm or deny my question about MAF
I received my new intake today and have several things to do prior to starting the install. Get all my work complete, pull off the old system and then worked on taking off the stock stuff from my MAF. Boy is that a royal PIA. Got it off, air bridge worked perfect, but then get to the filter. OMG the hole is WAY to big. Oh the point about the time above was, now the vendors are closed that I ordered it from.
This is the question, and I believe I know the answer. Is the MAF ends on a 98 much smaller than the ones on a newer LS1?
Argh, now I guess I try to reinstall the old system until I can get this worked out. :cry :cry

I think they may have changed the MAF size as of '01. Not 100% tho, I have a 2000. The Z06 did for sure.

The MAF end size on the 1997-2000 C5 is 3.5 inches. The 2001 & 2002 C5 and Z06 are both 4 inch diameters.

Thanks everyone.
Oh well, accidents happen. The good news is once I get the correct filter should only take me 5 minutes to reinstall the entire set up.
