So I installed my Vortex Rammer I decided to take the radiator shroud off so I wouldn't end up with a sore back. I found a ton of leaves and **** on my radiator and will be purchasing a radiator screen. My new rammer only came with 4 screws and clips so I had to go to ACE and get the rest and while I was there I discovered screw caps. So I put these screw caps on and I really like the way it looks. I think it gives it a more finished appearence. Best of all they are 35 cents! Here are some pics.
Also I was wondering if any one has had issues with water getting sucked in? I was wondering how big of a puddle on the freeway would pose an issue?
If it is a problem I was thinking about flipping the bottom scoop around and drilling a few drain holes which would kill a little ram air but be a great slash gaurd. What do you guys think the need is for a slash gaurd for this type of intake?
Tricky camera angle to make it look flipped
