Default Tire pressure sensor p/n

I have 2 different sets of pressure sensors. They are physically the same size and look identical but have 2 different numbers stamped into them. 25773946 and 25731358. What's the difference?

I think there is a misprint in the eBay post... just to confirm: Does the 1358 sensor function just like the 3946 sensor? I have an '02 coupe and I want to make sure the 1358 sensor will work on my car.

I just replaced one of my 98's tpms sensors with Schrader Bridgeport part # 28006 it cost significantly less than the GM replacement....and works identically. No problems programing or reading data. I paid approx. $45 cnd.

They have an application guide on their website. Google for link.

FYI the 2001-2004 part# is 20117

Hope that this helps

From another thread...

I just bought new sensors. $37 each from forum sponsor Tire Rack. They have a store on the big auction site. Saved some money and shipping was fast. AirAware part #20117 by Schrader, just like the factory sensor.

Although they're not yet mounted, I just trained my new sensors from Tire Rack with no issues. They were immediately recognized and are correctly reporting 4 flat tires.

Anyone know the shelf life of these sensors ... that is, how long the battery will still "hold a charge" if never installed in a C5 ? I've discovered a number of NOS 25731358 sensors ... but know for certain that they are over ten years old. Any way to check ??
