Default Throttle Body Question

I was told you can by pass the water line that runs throught the TB and gain some HP, my question is, how much HP and will it be noticeable. I'm new with the corvette family, but I love this car....

Thanks
Robert

Little gain if any.

You will not notice any increase in power. The only reason to do this mod would be to make it easier to remove throttle body/intake without dealing with the cooling system.

It will actually keep the temperature of the air flowing through your throttle body cooler as it will not have the hot coolant moving around it. Cooler air is more dense=mo powa

I agree, the air flowing through the TB does so at a rate that it's only in the TB for a millisecond, so the amount that it's going to raise the temp of the incoming air is so miniscule that it isn't going to affect the HP. Don't waste your time.
