I replaced the stock headers and took off egr. Now the ac turns on for about 1 to 3 sec. and shuts right back off again. I can't seem to figure out the problem... any ideas???

no... there are no codes. vacuum line doesn't feel broken. pulled intake off twice just to check.. and nothing...
Ok, so you actually checked to make sure there were not codes? Not just a SES light?
Is the compressor engaging? Did you disturb anything else. Why are you pulling the intake off? Even if you had lost vacuum, the compressor should engaged, you'll just lose mode control.
we loosened the intake to remove the hose on the stock exhaust. so we thought that maybe we had broke it or it was loose... but nothing. I also checked the pressure switch and it is in place as well.
I just got in the car to go for a ride and these codes came up as history for the hvac
B0441 and B0361. I did look them up to see what they were but not to sure on what to do to fix the problem.
no it wasn't. I found the problem. The New Headers melted the hose. The hole was hidden because of the heat foil on it. I replaced the hose and charged it up with some new freon and it's working great. Thanks for every body's help.
