Default NEW...PCM programmer on the market...

We'll it would be nice if you could use this on C5's.

It seems like more technology is available for other vehicles than the C5.

Wouldn't this be nice? Programming your own PCM without the wait and relying on vendors:

I know some Supra's guys using AEM's and have done a little R&D in adapting it to a C5.

Buckmaster,

Thanks for remembering and asking.

I've been off the forum for awhile (well I do have to admit I visit the "off topic" section in this forum and look for the "babe" posts :D )

We had a baby boy delivered on Christmas Day. So, I've been really busy trying to adjust. It doesn't help that he's colicky.

The 540 BB Chevelle project is completed. I haven't been able to drive it much other than running to the supermarket for diapers :D

I run into a lot of C5's and we give each other thumbs up.

I still read through this forum because I will be back in the C5 or C6 action soon....scary thought.

Thanks!

This is available for most C5's. The new LS1edit software should be able to do this, initially only on 1997-2000 models.

EGT feedback on the race version is very cool! EGT really is the best way to tune, probably better than A/F also. I wonder if it's closed loop EGT!
I wonder what the cost is for this system.

No I don't, I just ordered LS1Edit, last thing I need is to buy this too.

I looked a little at the provided link - what is this product priced? Unless it is very low I would suggest checking out the Speed Pro / Fast setup if you are in the market for something like this. There is already a LS1 harness available aftermarket which greatly simplifies things.

If you don't need the extra functionality of an aftermarket EFI system LS1 Edit is the way to go for sure!
