I had a similar problem - turned out that the locking nut on the window tilt adjuster was loose. Easy to fix - gently pry the reflector off the door and the adjustor is right there.

Thanks I will try that.. But I'm not clear on your instruction just yet! Is the reflector at the bottom of the door? Hey, I'll take your advise! Thanks!

Yes, the reflector at the bottom of the door - it is held in place by plastic tabs on the backside of the reflector - I believe you gently pry from the bottom first then slide the top down and out, but it has been a few years since I was in there...
There is also a window regulator mount at the front of the door. You can get to that nut by removing the rubber plug in the bottom of the door. You can also use these openings to look up inside the door to see if anything else looks loose. There are two metal clamps that hold the glass in the regulator assembly. They could also be loose.

Thanks for the info but I do have a question. Looking up into the door I saw what looked like a screw must be the adjustment screw. I tried to use a screw driver but the blade would not fit it. I also tried needle nose pillers to no avail to move it. How do you adjust this sucker?

I had a bad rattle and it turns out the front lower mounting/adjusting bolt was broken.

I'm not sure - on mine it was the locking nut, rather than the adjusting screw. If I recall I either got a socket on it or used duck bill pliers

If you are talking about the adjustment screws on the brackets that hold the glass, those are to adjust where the glass stops, so you do not adjust those unless the window is not closing correctly.
I think they are torx head and you can use internal torx head sockets on them, or the right size regular socket will also work. Normally, they are adjusted evenly, and will raise or lower the stopping point for the glass.
