Magnaflow drone
Anyone have a surefire way to get ride of this? In 6th at highway speed, 1500-1600 rpm the drone is killing me!
I have to go to 5th or speed up to get rid of it. Neither I really want to do the MPG and MPH aren't good for the pocket book!

I have the 16732 Magnaflow...has a great sound...I prefer it to other's I've heard.
In my exp, every exhaust other then stock has a bit of drone at a certain RPM.
It's kinda like, don't put head's / cam on your car and expect not to lose fuel economy!

@ 1500 to 1600 rpm, you're in the 'drone zone', at least that's my experience with my A4 2000 coupe that has the GHL Bullets. No drone to speak of below 1400 rpm or above 1700 rpm, it's the 300 rpm in between where I have drone, which is around 60 mph in A4 with 2.73 gears.
