Default M12 Minor Rebuild- Dallas area - Any suggestions?

I have an M12 that I am planning to install this fall, but I would at least like to get the syncros replaced before I put it in. The trans worked great (as I was told - removed from a roll-over) but has 57k miles on it. Does anyone know a reputable shop or individual in the north Dallas area to do a stock rebuild? Are there any upgrades I should consider for less than 450hp? Thanks in advance..

If your considering a tranny rebuild, consider sending it to RPM Transmissions. Thay can make any improvement from mild to wild. Talk to Rodney and see what he can do for you.

Thanks Bill. I'll call RPM to see what cost I would be looking at. I don't really want to spend a fortune on this, as I will most likely never race the car. I just don't want someone to get into it that can't put it back right, and I RPM is good.

Thanks

I know this seems odd to ship to NC, but go to tickperformance.com - they are a sponsor. They have details on their rebuilds and how to ship to them. They have an excellent reputation.

I just had my tranny rebuilt thru quality motorsports by a guy at classic chevrolet for $400, I paid $750 for the upgraded rebuild kit(carbon rings, brass pads, billet keys and steel fork) vs. $500 for the oem kit

PM sent. Quality Motorsports is a bunch of stand-up guys. I mentioned an excellent rebuilder in the PM. They are the Tremec supplier for this part of the country. If you aren't pulling the tranny yourself, Quality will take care of you on that at least.

It's working great, I believe they charge $500 to pull the tranny...I can't remember the name of the gear place in kentucky I believe that I ordered the kit from, but I bet they do if you call them and mention me (frc Chris)
