Normal oil pressure

What should be normal operating oil pressure on a 2002? My Dial gauge is pinned at 80 psi and the digital gauge reads 130.

it's the sensor. they're prone to failure.

Your oil pressure sensor, back of the intake, is bad. Sorry. You can cut the cowl or remove the manifold (which isn't as bad as people think it is.)

I went 2 years without replacing mine.

It's certainly not a bad idea as keeping an eye on oil pressure is a good idea. But the chances of it actually hurting anything are slim at most.

Unless you are tracking the car it shouldn't be a problem. Then again, it seems like the computer wouldn't let you drive car if it thought it was a problem.
