Default goodyear gatorback serpintine belt

I have a 1999 vert. What is the right part number for a goodyear gatorback belt. The guy at auto zone gave me 4060798 but after searching other threads im confused some say use a 4060802

No need for confusion. Go to the below site and find the part numbers in question:

If you want to be certain, measure your factory belt, and compare it to the goodyear specs.

The goodyear gatorback belts are just a tad bit shorter.... this makes them a bit more of a pain to get installed but they are great and are quiet too!

4060798 is the correct #.

The slightly longer 802 was used on 02/later cars with the clutch-type alternator pulley. (I believe that's why the slight difference in belts).

I'm fairly sure they use the same size belt

Default MAIN Belt - which one ??? 1999

Waking up an old thread............so you guys won't say I didn't use the "Search"....

For the 1999, stock engine... Which one is the MAIN (alt, water, etc...) belt - 4060798 or the 4060402.

Changing both belts and idler pulleys and tensioners....gawd dang just gonna do 'em all
