Default Door panel advice needed

I'm considering buying door panels for my 97. Are 2000 model door panels an improvement over the 97? My door panels are buckling at the arm rest and pulling away from the window and controls. We took them off after we bought her and re-attached the handles. Thanks for your input.

They are pretty much the same. High heat temperatures cause the problem. Get a car cover to protect your interior.

Thanks. The previous owner drove her to work for about a year. Car interiors get extremely hot here during the summer in a parking lot. I have her in my basement garage.

You might find newer panels are better. What is the production number of your car? Bowling Green had problems with door panels during April 97. They had several hundred cars in the parking lot that had to get new door panels. Mine was one of them. The problem delayed delivery about a month. There may have been some that were produced before the problem was noticed.

My 04 never sits in the sun and my door panels are doing that.
