I called Richard at WCCH (ProHeads.com) to tell him how his Stage 3 L92 heads are performing. He couldn't stop laughing in amazement.

Well done to everyone involved - Shawn, Ed and Richard!!!

Ask them in 100k miles. I bet mine's still running strong besides I like the challenge of making good/great NA power.

How do you intend to use your car? Daily driver? Drag? Auto-x?

It's a grocery getter. I use it to commute in DC rush hour on nice days and we take it on trips whenever possible. Nothing special.

My little 427 is a few ponies behind but I know if I drove it the way it is for the next 5 years it'd still be going strong, tiny cam, well put together and bulletproof.

I would prefer not to discuss what was paid for it, you got a deal compared to what was paid for mine but it's LS7 based and that was a while ago... (and now I'm just making myself feel better)

Anyway, that's going to be a BEAST on the street and I hope to see it in person some day, I enjoyed following the build on here mad props!

with an unlimited budget i could have made another 50 hp at least, for that matter i could have changed cams and got another 50 hp if i didn't care about how it drove.

150hp for $1100.00-looks like a pretty good deal to me.

FI is the easy way out. Anyone can put a blower on a car and make power.

Big cams are easy to make power with. Try making 575 at the wheels with a mild cam, and a reasonably sized engine, and "heads that don't work"

Big shout out to Kevin. Over the years he's been the best customer any shop could hope to have. He's WANTED his car to be an exercise in R&D. He could have stopped long ago. He wanted something no one else had. A VERY driveable, very unassuming, yet VERY POWERFUL beast. If he was only looking for a power number, we could have went about it several different, not to mention much less expensive, ways.

PS, all of us here at Va Speed are very proud to have been a part of this.

Wow wee, this is what I want for my car! Are you still thinking of going down on the 27th?
I think I read on this post that others are welcomed to come along for a vette caravan ride down? I'm in Arlington.

Hey Mike,

We should be leaving my house around 8-8:30-ish. As soon as Sneakelman makes it down from Hagerstown.

Hope you can make it.
