How many miles can you do on a C5?

I feel like a babe in the woods. She leaks and seeps abit about the engine but not over a few drops on the floor after a drive. Gonna have to get lots worst before getting that fixed. Never forget when with Marine Corps motorpool as mechanic and a leak was timed to about 6 or so drops per minute. Less was a seep and not a concern for repair.

I have pretty much rebuilt the entire car. From suspension, interior, wiring. It had been badly neglected and abused when I bought it.

I put 115,000 on my C5 and now have a C7 that I have put 99,000 on so far. There was a guy driving a C3 through our town in Colorado and he had 268,000 on it. I don't think there is a limit on how many miles you can put on any xar, it just depends on how well you take care of your car

My '04 Z is up to 193.000 now.
Still on the original clutch!
It's had the water pump and alternator replaced.
Last month the fuel pump died on my drive to work. It's my daily driver and I didn't have the time, or inclination, to do that repair myself. It was a costly repair at the dealership and it took about a week to get it done, but, she's back on the road and still going strong.
I developed a small oil leak a couple of years ago that I have not been able to locate. Hopefully I'll get that sorted out soon.
I love this car!!!!

Bought in April 2013 with 87,000 miles -- 5 years & 7 months later showing 103,000 on the odometer. She's yet to see any rain and only been washed 3 times. (Use McGuire's Ultimate Wash n Wax before and after taking her out.) Stays covered under a carport and on a tender at all times.(Yes, she's spoiled)
No problems with motor or tranny other than EBCM repaired by ABS fixer, replaced sticking thermostat and replaced belts/pulleys. Had the usual electrical gremlins but after replacing the starter switch there have been no codes in over the last 500 miles

I have not checked this thread in a while. My 2000 vert is up to 346232. Original engine and still the original clutch. It still runs like a champ. most of those miles were highway miles. I was commuting 120 miles a day but have since retired so the car is getting a well deserved rest.

Currently 285K miles, have done some oil control work, changing out the front main seal and harmonic damper (had about a .015" groove worn in it!), and the intake manifold gasket. That helped a lot, but I still need to swap out the oil pan seal, which requires dropping the entire front suspension while supporting the engine.
Have a good one,
Mike

Replaced the steering rack awhile back. Starter got replaced. Other than that, nothing significant.

I don't know what had to be replaced over it's life time but there is a 1997 that was donated to the National Corvette Museum by it's original owner with 700,000 miles on it with the original engine never being overhauled !

166k on my '02. Have replaced water pump and alternator.
Basically bone stock except for Callaway exhaust and air
intake mod. Me and the state police in upstate NY just love
this thing. 158mph on I86 westbound, and 29mpg and 71mph average
on frequent trips from NJ to Detroit.

220,000 miles on my 2001 Z06. Replaced the transmission at 40,000 because the 3-4 shift fork broke. Put in a RPM transmission that lasted 180,000 miles. Just put in a Rockland Standard Gear transmission (and new clutch/flywheel, even though the old one still looked in pretty good shape).
