Fired the old Gal up this morning to go to work and the oil pressure went to 56psi +/-???????? Driving down the road being ****, gauge and DIC watching, and it drops to 37psi at 2000rpm. Pull on I75 at about 3000rpm and it shoots up to 57psi again and then settles down to 40psi at cruise. I checked the oil and it's full.
Sounds like normal oil pressure to me. When the sending unit fails it reads max pressure all the time, 80psi on the analog gauge and 130psi on the DIC.
