99 C5 noise from rear after alignment
Still trying to find the reason for noise from rear after alignment,
took car to alignment shop had aligned after putting new wheels
and tires 19frt. and 20rear. I've had alignment done 2 times now
drained rear and refilled, replaced right rear hub bearing, put diff.
tires and wheels on car, and have raised rear up about 1/2 in. you
quessed it I still have noise and it gets louder turning to the left
could be from the left side but sure sounded like the right so I
replaced. Has anyone had this problem and could give me some
thing else to try? At 63 years of age its getting harder and harder
getting under this car after jacking it up and down.
Thanks

Drifting
If it's a "clicking" sound ,it could be the axle splines in the hub(dry and rusty),or possibly a CV joint
A description of the actual noise might bring more responses.

noise sounds like I'm running mud tires and groans when turning
to the left by just turn steering wheel just a small amount can turn
back to right and the groan go's away.
