My Tahoe had a broken cable, replaced the whole regulator with a cheap off-brand (under $80 w/shippping). It is a cheap reproduction, but it works, and it wont see much use since its on the passenger side.

I had an earlier post here that I fixed mine (the glass came lose from it's bracket) and it was working fine.
Now the thing is binding--it goes up and down, but gets stuck 1/2 way up. Also, the glass is rubbing on metal and scored the tint.
Could this be fixed with some adjustment? There is long thread bolt in the lower right corner of the regulator. I adjusted this in both directions to no avail.
A local shop wants $200 labor and $350 for a new regulator.
