After further review, the answer is still no. No filter until the C6.

Isn't there a vendor here that sells an aftermarket one? A thin foam that goes over the cabin intake screen at the driver's side windshield base?

You need to fill in your sig. We have no idea what year or model Corvette you are talking about. As already pointed out, the C5 doesn't have one, if that is in fact what you own.
If by chance you posted in the C5 area by mistake and you have a C6, the C6 filter is on the passanger's side front of firewall. There is a long narrow access door held in place by three snap like retainers.

It's really something that you could easily make yourself.
