TR6060 guts VS T56 guts
I was doing a side by side build of the C6 Z06 TR6060 and C5 T56 and decided to take some pics. You can see the difference in gear size. The main output shaft on the TR is 30 splined compare to 27 on the C5. The TR6060 input shaft doesn't taper down like the T56 shaft. Also some pics of the double coned 3rd gear blockers (sintered bronze) compared to smaller C5 (compressed carbon) blockers. Just thought I would share with the members.

No problem. I'll be assembling a "faceplated" trans this weekend. Look for that thread. It will be a very detailed and documented with alot of pictures!

I just had George at Rockland Transmission up grade my MN12 to a tr 60/60, Cant wait to get it in the Z and thrash it!! The guy is a tranny GOD!

Hey Bill, I guess you know that you can convert the TR6060 to fit into a C5 without upgrading the diff/cradle. Snaps some pics when you do the install.
