Car wont start... Please need help

Car wont start... Please need help

Hi,

My 01 has been on a charger, lights and all items are working. When I turn the key I get nothing. Its as if you tried to start it without pushing in the clutch. No noise or anything.

Any ideas.

Well here is what happened, I pushed down down on the clutch several times in a row and it started. ????

What do you think occured and should I now be worried that it may happen again?

Has this happened to anyone?

The security light came on as it normally does. Goes off when key is turned.

Everything was just as it normally is.

I wonder if it is something with the depression of the cluthch. There must be a switch that allows the car to start when the clutch is depressed.

Is that something that I can eyeball or easily check?

It's a $15 or so switch and it has no adjustment. It simply slides into place and locks in on two sliding tabs.

There should be a connector going into it with Yellow and Purple wires.
