It's Midnight 8/3 and I just had my "oil level low" warning come on! :(
I'm using my phone to post this, need your help! I'm fairly far from home...about 30miles and the warning came on...no oil around...call AAA or is it just a warning?

Bill was a great help 
. I Feel bad calling him again so late. Ultimately he suggested to drop a quart in of regular oil, but I'm not sure which...there is no 5w30 oils, just 5w20. Any insight? Bill if you're reading, a second assist would be great .

Once you get back home, figure out why your using oil.How many miles on the engine?
Have you ever changed your positive crankcase valve (PCV)? Its on the rear area of the drivers side valve cover on your C5.

Hey bill! I JUST hit the 50,000 mark. I'm in tge process of getting her over to chevy today. I haven't changed it yet but I guess I'm gonna get ot done at the dealership

level was actually low. Just added some oil and all was better

just a suggestion for the future :
when the "oil level low" light comes on try ADDING SOME OIL before contacting Bill.
Let's keep Bill for the really big issues.
